WWTP Herisau (canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden)
With an installed capacity of 345.6 kWp and an annual yield of approx. 293,500 kWh, the folding solar roof above the sewage treatment basins of the Herisau wastewater treatment plant will cover around 25% of the plant's energy needs from renewable sources. This means that Appenzellerland now has its second folding solar roof.
